inked

You never know what to expect when it comes to emails from strangers, but sometimes the results can be pretty amazing. Mitchell is now the 5th person I know of to have a tattoo of my work, and by far this is the most ambitious and impressive that I've seen.

Funny thing is, this is Boy's favorite piece, but he also hates tattoos. I wish I had a camera when I showed it to him.

p@rk

We've become quite the regulars at the Lake Hollywood dog park lately. We usually go around noon, lets the kids runs around like banshees, then go grab lunch, but today I was shackled to my desk until 2 doing work.

Man, what a difference an hour or two makes with the dog park crowd. It's almost akin to riding the subway near closing. You just want to walk the other way.

the relevant rerun

From The West Wing's second season premiere, "In the Shadow of Two Gunmen"

NANCY : It's worth mentioning that at this moment we do not know the whereabouts of about a half-dozen cell leaders including bin Laden, but that's not my concern right now.

The episode aired October 4, 2000.

movie weekend

Our house was taken over by a film crew for the weekend. Our friend Stewart's short has flashbacks to the 1930's, and our house (built in the 20's) was easily able to shift into vintage mode after a complete redecoration of the guest room.

Also, it snowed.

mother nature

Living in the Hills has proved to be about the best thing ever. Far away from some things, closer to others, and wonderfully quiet at night ... except when we hear the coyotes killing bunnies.

Do you have any idea how loud and terrifying a bunnies death cry is?

worker bees

Oh, blog, how I've failed you yet again.

Its not my fault. Really. I usually do 9 commercial projects a month, and maintain my online store and try to get some side projects done, but January saw over TWENTY projects occur. TWENTY!

The house is coming along very nicely, thanks to a short visit by my mom. Home isn't just where the heart is, its also where the mom has been.

And now I must get back to doing art for a Nickelodeon pitch!
